Ready to Learn comprises the student-directed services provided through SkillSet. These services take the form of tutoring (grades K-12) and ACT prep (grades 6-12) using a proprietary service delivery strategy developed by Mainstream.
Teachers work with students to develop Learner Goals that demonstrate mastery of the content-specific requirements at each grade level and monitor progress toward mastering skills.
Students are given opportunities to deepen their learning of core materials through individual, group, and project-based work. Students demonstrate competencies through a variety of methods such as projects and presentations, and achieve at or above grade level. Students are held responsible for setting goals and measuring their own progress through reflection and self-assessment.
